Halloween is Hubby’s favourite holiday by far. He goes all out with costumes, decorations and treats. I contribute by playing along and by making a Halloween dinner. It’s the type of dinner where looks are more important than content … kind of like the holiday itself.

This year I made sweet potato spiders, jack-o-lantern puff pastry on shepherds pie and apple shrunken heads which were served on ice cream with orange and black sprinkles.
