Dear readers… in case I haven’t said it enough lately – I am a lucky girl. 2010 ended on a really high note for me when I was invited to be part of a … dare I say “ALL STAR” blogging team that will be covering the Canadian Celebrity Chefs Event which is coming to the NAC January 24, 2011.

The event pairs invited chefs with a local partner and gives each pair their own blogger to interview, tweet and blog about them, their dish and the event. Much to my excitement I’ve been paired with Chef Robyn Bowen, Empire Grill and Paul Rogalski, ROUGE, Calgary, Alberta. Boo-yeah!

The day kicks off with Live Demos in the NAC studio where each team will have a half hour to demo their dish and then have some time for Q&A’s from the audience. Later that evening there will be a Food and Wine Tasting Reception in the NAC Main Foyer where those lucky enough to have purchased tickets in time will have the opportunity to try each of the stellar dishes. The best part – all this for a very reasonable $145. Or you can just visit the demos for $99, or just the Tasting Reception for $75.

I will warn you now though – tickets are going fast. REALLY FAST. As this is the first year for the event, its being done on a smaller scale. Thus, less tickets, meaning a better opportunity for you to get up close and personal with the chef participants! And who are these participants??
