Last Friday Winterlude kicked off here in Ottawa and with it a new brand of Winterlude Food Experiences. The inaugural event was a dinner at the Museum of Nature by Chef Michael Smith. Chef Smith is one of the biggest influences in my cooking – his pressure free, experimental spirit is always in the back of my mind when I’m playing in the kitchen.
