Looking for a unique and positively foodie way to see Ottawa? Then you need to a tour of the city with C’est Bon Cooking. Last spring I was lucky enough  to go on one of their “Foods of Ottawa” guided tour of the Byward Market. I learned so much about my own city and the great food within it!

Since then C’est Bon has expanded to tours of Wellington West and Beechwood Ave. They have even introduced team building exercises such as “Market Adventure with Chef Andree” where a small group and the Chef explore her favorite market vendors and end up back at La Bottega Nicastro for a French inspired cooking class.  For their efforts they were recognized as a finalist for the 2011 Ottawa Tourism awards in TWO categories: Innovation of the Year and Business of the Year.

If you are planning to visit Ottawa this summer, or live here and would like to learn more about the great culinary goings on in your own backyard. This is something not to be missed! Tours start May 7th with the first weekend of Tulip Festival!

I can’t say enough good things about these ladies and their passion for food – they are so much fun to be around! Book a tour and see for yourself!
