La Vendemmia is Italian for ‘the harvest’ and that is exactly what Preston Street will be celebrating September 22-25. But it’s not just the Italians who have harvest festivals, in fact they are celebrated all around the world. This makes Preston street the perfect place for this celebration of food, wine and art the perfect place. Over the years Ottawa’s ‘Little Italy’ has gotten a more international feel with restaurants and shops that feature the flavours of Korea, Thailand, Germany and more. They will all be participating in this weekend of fun! Come on out to one, or several of these great events taking place while we celebrate harvest time!
